| Yimi when he had his Paul Schaeffer look |
|---|
Fresh out of diapers, Yimi started playing keys at the age of 5, thinking it was (in his words) at the time... "Cool." He did the private lessons thang then it was onto music theory at Horton-Watkins. From there it was just working things out on his own. At 15, Yimi crossed that major threshold by playing in his first band and he was hooked. Yimi worked his way up from backyard garages to local bars, then to the top venues in the St. Louis area like Stages, Missisippi Nights, Bogarts, The Brass Spur, Boomers, etc. And look where he's at now, working with The Busters.
Yimi joined The Busters in March of 2008. He is a longtime friend of Dub's, and he still decided to join this merry band of Busters anyway. He's deluged with all the material that the band has worked up with the ETA's so he still trying to figure out what is going on. Just wait until he gets out to do his first show. The "babe out of diapers playing keys" aspect is back for ol Yimi-poo!!!, Oooh "Poo," "diapers," where's this story headed?!!
