Acasualous Dubishness

Dub

Bass, Vocals & Trombone

Mr. Analytical

Planning, numbers, details.... it is in "Dub's" make up like a pocket protector or a scientific calculator.

You won't hear name dropping from Dub due to the lack of a chorum, however he does credit Tommy Smothers as his main influence on bass. When asked his opinion on whether he liked the idea that he was Dub's main influence, Mr. Smothers (beaming with pride) was heard to say, "wa, wa, what..., who?"

The official "Tight-wad of Madison County," Dub will not hire a tour bus driver for the band and simply takes the wheel nightly, without a CDL. That's the kind of "living-on-the-edge" that he brings to the musical stew for The Busters.

Dub performs most of the seguey work for the band since he has experience in radio. In fact, his station was so powerful that they would turn the transmitter off at night so some farmer in Iowa could run his toaster.

For relaxation, you can catch him skipping cracks in the sidewalks of Main Street, downtown Edwardsville. Dub says he never liked playing "Lacledes Landing." Apparently cobblestone streets provide too much anxiety.
